Dear Eric Johnson:
On behalf of those who attended the workshop
presented on Professional Development Day, September 30, thank you for
sharing with us! We are significantly better prepared to meet the
needs of students through presentations by colleagues such as yourself.
Each year presents special instructional
challenges! We look forward to meeting these challenges and know
we are better equipped because of the opportunity to have learned from
you.
Sincerely,
Gary Ingraham
Director of Curriculum, Porterville Unified School District

Dear Eric Johnson
THANK YOU This is Austin the guy who sat
next to the girl that got peed on by the blue tongue lizard. I got
a little pee on my hand, that was grose but funny at the same time.
When I was little I loved snakes until I started running into rattlers
by my self with out ANYTHING to protect my self with. Then I was
afraid of snakes and lizards. I was afraid of lizards because they
look like a snake when you first glance at them. But now thanks to
you I’m not afraid of any of them. In fact I’ll probably laugh
every time I see a lizard. Well thank you for breaking my fear of
snakes and lizards and for teaching me so much about reptiles and
especially breaking my fear of snakes.
Sincerely,
Austin

Dear Reptile Family:
Saturday October 16,2004, was a delightfully
successful day. We, the kids and adults had a very exciting time.
We all learned a great deal about reptile habits and life styles.
The kids were enthralled. Eric has an excellent stage presence.
He also taught us a great deal through our total involvement. It
is our plan to sponsor a show each year, and we would love to have Eric
back.
Our sincere thanks to Eric

Dear Eric & Michelle
On behalf of the Friends of SCICON and
Tulare County Office of Education, I want to thank the E&M’s Reptile
Family for the wonderful display at the recent SCICON BBQ. Your
presentation and hands-on activities were one of the major attractions
at the BBQ. Your booth really added a lot to the educational value
of the day.
Approximately 2500 people attended this
year’s SCICON BBQ. All enjoyed the beautiful campus, the
activities and the wonderful day. Thank you for helping make this
forty-fifth annual SCICON BBQ a wonderful success. Thank you for
all that you do for SCICON.
Sincerely,
Rick Mitchell
Administrator of the School of Science and Conservation

Dear Eric & Michelle,
I am so happy that we were able to make your
event happen. You two are great with the kids (and reptiles).
Your show was a wonderful success and the kids enjoyed it thoroughly.
Thanks again for this opportunity and I look forward to many
collaborations in the future. I will wholeheartedly recommend your
show to others and I will email your brochure to leaders and volunteers.
Thanks again!

Dear Eric Johnson
Your animals were the coolest station at
River Ridge for Trout Release. The ball python was wicked. I
liked the frogs and the albino snake the best. I’m from Australia
so it was cool to see Australian animals again. My family and I
are moving back soon. The spider scared me a little. Many of
us 6th graders like your Reptile station the best. It
was my favorite. Thanks a lot. It was fun.
Sincerely

Good Morning Eric & Michelle!!!
I just want to thank you for a great show
last Sept 2nd for Marjorie’s 4th birthday party.
Everyone had a great time!!! And the kids loved it….they thought
it was an awesome party!!! And I am so happy the kids enjoyed
it….all the parents thought you did a great job considering the age
group of the kids at her party. My husband and I had a great time
too and we will definitely call you out again when our son gets old
enough to have a show like yours for his birthday. And the
Polaroid photos were a hit!!! The kids and their parents loved
them! And it was a great party souvenir that both the parents and
the kids liked!!! Thank you so much for coming to our party!!!
And we’ll surely spread the word!!!
Have a good one!!!

Dear Eric
I’m writing this letter to tell you how much
fun I had. That would have been the worst field trip but then when
I went in your group it flipped the whole idea upside down. You
have no idea how much fun I had there with you.
Sincerely
Chad
PS Thanks a lot I had fun with you

Dear Eric Johnson
Thank you for showing me how to hold snakes
frogs lizards and spiders and what they eat what they do and what they
look like. I hope you can go back to River Ridge so you can show
my brother next year all of the reptiles that you showed me.
Sincerely

Eric:
Great show! I have heard a lot of good
comments about it. Also, the Lindsay Superintendent of Schools,
Janet Kliegel, stood there and watched the whole thing with a big smile
on her face.
Thank you for a great show,
